What is a domain name?
A domain name is simply the name of your web site e.g. marblewebsites.co.uk

What is web hosting?
Hosting is a service provided by specialist companies who you space for your web site on their servers (computers) and make it available for viewing on the world wide web.

Do you provide domain registration and hosting?
Domain registration and hosting can be provided, prices start from around £25 per annum (depending on your hosting requirements) and we will guide you through the entire hosting and registration process so you understand exactly what is happening at all stages.

Will you submit my site to search Engines?
Your site will be submitted to Google, MSN and Yahoo, their submissions are free and their search tools are widely regarded as the most popular on the internet. It can take from 2 weeks to 2 months after submission to see your site appear in the search results so please try to be patient.

Do I get a warranty with my web site?
In the unlikely event of anything going wrong with your site once it is live, marble websites will fix technical problems for the first 12 months providing that no-one else has updated the site in the interim. After 12 months, you should contact us for any remedial work or site enhancements.

Do you provide a maintenance contract?
Currently, marble websites does not provide maintenance contracts. However, to have changes made to your site, just give marble websites a call and we will let you know how much the changes will cost. Small changes take next to no time to do so are relatively cheap. For example, to add a paragraph of 100 words to a page will cost about £20 and will be done within 24 hours in most cases.
